We are a none profit making club and all of our time is given voluntary, We
train youngsters from as early as 8 years old, lots of the boxers we have
trained with us have moved on to become national / international champions and
quite a few of the professional boxers around today have been trained as
armature boxers at our the club.
One of the advantages of the club is that we keep youngsters “off the streets”
and away from crime and drugs which is, like most areas a big problem in
Barnsley
Most of the youngsters that come to the gym are from a poor back ground or from
ethnic minorities & travelling families who cannot afford to pay the weekly subs
of just £2.00 per week.
